The TriAtis Way

In 2019 TriAtis had a 10-year vision –The TriAtis Way 2030: To run leadership sustainability training, to develop this generation and the next- which is all in line with the Development Goals 4 (SDGs) to improve youth literacy. We have now rooted the SDG 4 across all our training platforms, including and in particular our workshops in not just the formal training programme but in all aspects of our leadership development accelerators for senior & middle management. Through a strong dedication from the top, and passion and energy of Samuel T. Reddy, CEO of TriAtis Global Leadership we are now partnering with companies & organisations under the Development Goals 17 (SDG17) who understand how the multiplier effect of literacy empowers children, enables them to participate fully in society and contributes to improve communities.

Samuel is a multi award winning member of the British ExForces, an International Bestselling author of the book Leavers To Leaders, which has become #l bestseller in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. As an inspirational Keynote Speaker, he usually talks on various topics including the ‘3 L.O.S of Leadership’ & ‘ The Leaders Operating System’. Born in Mauritius, Samuel grew up during a time of sugar cane plantation from a working class family and speaks English, Creole and fluent French. Samuel used his passion to reinvent himself and continuously improve his transitional journey. Now he’s ready to put his considerable focus on a new mission: to elevate the lives of thousands of others who are frustrated, undervalued and overlooked.

Message from Samuel T. Reddy CEO of TriAtis Global Leadership

“Being a citizen of two commonwealth nations made me realise the importance of creating lasting value where success is about significant, leaders not only need impactful learning to enrich their lives, but also need to prepare the next generation of leaders which is a largely unexplored factor in individual and collective performance”.

Introduce your approach to integrating SDG 4 & SDG17 into sustainable leadership?

Since 2019 TriAtis Global Leadership has adopted an early signatory to cultivate sustainable leaders to solve the world’s greatest challenges as part of the Leaders Operating System (L.O.S). The close alignment of the L.O.S with TriAtis mission and values plays a central role in our training, research and partnership policies and strategies. As an training organisation operating in the UK and the Sub Saharan Africa we want to strategically position ourselves to develop leaders who not only can deal with the context of change and adapt unique leadership approach to challenges of the future but also develop new strategies when it comes to dealing with ambiguity and leadership to move forward. Hence why we are also aligned with SDG17 – partnership for the goals to issues such as ensuring quality education for all, access to primary & secondary education, early childhood development, relevant skills for decent work, gender equality and inclusion, universal youth and adult literacy and educating our youth for sustainable development and global citizenship. At TriAtis we believe in better self for a better world.

Why is this important?

We worked with various organisations in the UK from military, police , Universities, and the corporate to develop leaders during their leadership transition for sustainability (LTS-UK) under our accelerators. We know organisations are being continually challenged- In today’s volatile, unpredictable world. The new world is going to require corporate and leaders to remain relevant, rigorous and responsive, those who hang on to old models of success will ultimately lose their way. Just like a military convoy in a hostile territory, they need to be aware and alert of what’s around the corner and be prepared for an ambush!

But in 2018 the 12 big companies in the world including the top 3, Apple, IBM & Google announced that they will no longer require employees to have a college degree. This is now being followed by many organisations because the new digital world we are now experiencing with COVID 19 is fast speeding and it is nowadays a lot more easier to access knowledge and information to grow and develop, but literacy and reading is at the core of it. Working with many leaders who are facing career transition, It has become very clear that our future leaders need to be more creative, have the ability to think critically to solve problems and become more confident in their approach to life.

Our CPC model (Creativity, Problem solving & Confidence) is designed to have this in mind, and this is why we are on a mission to support as many children from an underprivileged background to join ‘The SugarCane Boy BookClub’ under our seal of commitment, ‘Buy One, Support One’-B.O.S.O ™. We are now putting teams in place to deliver our accelerators to 1000 young children in Mauritius while developing sustainable leaders.

Message from Alyssia on how to be a part of this initiative:

Having Omnicane as the partner of ‘The Sugarcane Boy Bookclub’ is such a natural alignment and knowing how they also value youth literacy make them a great partner. Furthermore, in the west, we talk a lot  about sustainability as we are becoming more aware of our impact on the world; Omnicane took it several steps further to turn sugarcane into energy. From a young age, my dad Samuel T. Reddy has been educating us about our home country. It is time for Mauritius to have its own superhero whose power comes from sugarcane and we want to help bring sugarcane and their sustainability into the attention of the world as all parts of the crop can contribute to the betterment of our planet for the future generations. We look forward to have other organisations following this example and join TriAtis seal of commitment B.O.S.O.™

Our seal of commitment ‘Buy One, Support One’.
